Vice President, Sustainability
Peter is a senior executive and expert on environment, sustainability and climate change, and what global trends imply for business. His role with Pond includes a combination of strategy, business development, and government relations.
Peter has worked with major international companies to create corporate strategies that align sustainability with financial objectives, and has over a decade of experience delivering strategic sustainability consulting to both the public and private sectors. Peter has a track record of helping organizations identify and execute sustainability-related initiatives that reduce risks and deliver returns.
Previously, Peter was Manager, Sustainable Business Practices for PricewaterhouseCoopers, and as a Senior Policy Advisor to the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change, where he helped develop Ontario’s greenhouse gas emission policies and programs.
Peter received his Masters of Environmental Studies (Diploma in Business and the Environment) from York University, and a BSc (Hons) in Marine Biology and Contemporary Studies from the University of Kings College in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
